While I was pregnant, I searched and searched for the perfect pregnancy journal. I wanted a place to write down all the little details I knew I would forget! I eventually ended up making my own, and now I’m sharing the same design (with a few lessons learned) with all of you!
Each journal is made from a 40-page Moleskine and includes several templated pages for you to keep track of your growing belly and baby!
Cover – “for this child I have prayed”
I had a sticky note with this verse on my mirror throughout my pregnancy, it was a beautiful reminder that all the sickness and those bags under my eyes were exactly what we had been praying for and that God had big plans for this little girl kicking my bladder.
I love having our “how we found out” story recorded in the baby book, it’s so fun to look back and relive that moment we found out we were expecting!
I also love having the first note we wrote to our baby girl (before we even knew she was a baby girl!).
bi-weekly page templates
Each page includes a space for the date, baby’s size, and a few thought starters for you to fill in – milestones (she can hear!), what I love (feeling little hiccups), what I miss (eating a hamburger without heartburn all night), what I’m looking forward to (our 18 week sonogram) and best moment (hubby feeling her kick).
I’ve included weeks 8-40 in the standard journals. There is also a blank page after each week page for additional journaling or pictures, etc.
Let me know if you think of anything else that would be fun to include! These are now available on my Etsy shop – they are great gifts for expecting friends!
